Fifth year celebration

September 29th, 2007, the New Orleans Haiku Society hosted a party to celebrate our fifth year anniversary. The public was invited.

The party took place at the Latter Library on St. Charles Avenue.

Our book, Katrina-ku: Storm Poems was sold as a fund-raiser to support the arts in New Orleans. The recipient of the money raised was Arts a la Carte, an arts program for people with special needs. Karel presents the check to one of the co-founders of Arts a la Carte, Sharon.
