From the moment of the Big Bang, this expanding universe of space and time has never stood still. Constant motion has been, from that long-ago beginning, the nature of nature.
It's impossible for anyone to return to an earlier point in time (except through memory). And it's just as impossible to return to an earlier point in space, since the planet to which we cling is whirling.
It whirls around a star (our sun) with billions of other stars, all whirling around a black hole at the center of a galaxy that, itself, is speeding off to a place it has never been. You can't, you mustn't, try to go backwards—and if you do attempt this, you are only fooling yourself. Every moment you live is new and unique; every place that you find yourself, you are visiting for the first time.
