3. Three lines. This third verse (the daisan) should reference no season. Unlike the first 3-line verse, don't write it with a strong break. Make it flow smoothly. Also, it's good to have an -ing verb in this verse. This suggests dynamic forward movement. The goal of renku is to always move forward.
